Black is a guarantee to look good. I am all for trying something different but bronze with tan seems quite risky.

Bronze. Then paint any exterior chrome bronze and your badges and everything.
    Bronze is the best color.

Hey but for real, where is that thread of first-gens with other Toyota rims (all the guys with Tacoma and 4Runner OEM wheels)? LOTS of pics of different wheel colors on our trucks there. Worth scrolling through to see your truck color with specific wheel colors.

I really like factory 4 runner wheels but the way they tuck inside the fenders really bothers me. Trying to avoid spacers

I like the gold ones the best but I'm not sure how they would look with your paint color. Who makes the gold ones? Really like the style.

I disagree completely with black wheels. After you get more than 20' away they blend in with the tire. That's why I went with gunmetal.

For your truck's paint color, go silver or gunmetal. Gold or bronze might look a little silly, too matchy-matchy. Don't go straight black. It's trendy and makes some trucks look ultra-base-model. The plasti-dip crowd really ruined that look, and black-on-black was classic low-budget BITD.

I was thinking bronze too. But had same sentiment as Shifty and partial to older style look.

Fake bead locks on wheels are super lame and a total deal breaker for me. The bronze is gonna look weird with your paint color. TRD wheels

That's so funny, I love faux bead locks, it gives that extra "visual inch" when they're blacked out.

Hellyeah, exactly! Maybe even a tad lighter, like the OEM Sequioa 5-spoke splits.

Black is so goddamn trendy these days. OP doesn't want to be like everyone else. Say no to herd mentality!

Those trd wheels weight about 5lbs more than the split 5 spoke. I was expecting lighter too since they are 7" wide and was surprised when I weighed them.
