New to the group. Sorry if not allowed.

2019 Toyota Tundra TRD 4x4 issue.

When it gets hot outside, my stereo/camera display shuts down. Traction control light comes on. Cruise control stops working. Automatic locks stop working. Once night comes and it cools down, it fixes itself.

    Any ideas?

Local Toyota dealer is no help even after paying for troubleshooting. No check engine light. No codes being thrown

    Thank you

    Alot of them
What part of the country are you in? How old is the battery? Heat kills them around the 2 to 2.5 year mark.

    Interesting

    CA. Currently about 102 degrees.
Could a weak battery cause this problem? I would think (uneducated) that it would impact on starting of the engine. No cranking problems. Thank you for the conversation

I’d take it too a parts store and have the battery load tested. That should give you an indication of its health.

Thank you again for the reply @Tundra234 and @“J” I think I’m in the right direction now. I had the battery check and load test and it checked out fine. However, I learned that my alternator is going bad. Had it double checked by someone else and they confirmed it is failing. So Monday, I’m getting that replaced.
    Fingers crossed. Thanks again

Do you have anywhere locally that can rebuild them? Much cheaper. Usually a day turnaround. That is depending on supplies on hand.

Had a Chevy truck once that a sheet metal screw nicked a wire in the roof during the manufacturing process. Every time the roof would get warm/hot, the sheet metal roof would flex just a little and cause the dome light to come on. Had a heck of a time figuring that out and the Chevy dealership's recommendation was to take the bulb out, lol. No more Chevy's in my future.
