Need Confirmation 2002 Tundra 4X4 auto transmission to 2003-4 auto transmission!

Would appreciate confirmation of 2003-2004 auto transmission being direct bolt in swap. Have 2002 Tundra 4x4 and having a hard time finding confirmation of swap. Yes I see it in the forums!
Just don’t want to be caught in another issue with wrong trans. Talking to local shops, calling suppliers, calling Toyota. Found no! Confirmation other than older posts. Found a 2003 transmission with 125k and want to put it in my 2002…

Happy to confirm. Had 2003 Auto Transmission installed in my 2002 Toyota Tundra 4X4 V8. Everything just plugged in and works like a dream… In fact it shifts smoother and I swear my truck feels faster?!?.
Recommend this swap to anyone 2000-2002 Tundra needing a new or improved auto transmission. Get a 2003-2004. You will thank me and the dozens of other happy upgraders later…
