So far i love the new tundra.
I ordered and installed audio up grades from tech12volt . 10" lj audio subs with box.
Lj audio 5 channel 900 amp.
I installed sound deadner from firewall to rear window.
    Two layers in all doors.
    Infinity 6x9 door speakers .
Last weekend I installed a bass knob to amp.
Ive set factory stereo with mids and highs on the high side . Bass about 3/4 . And adjust bass with knob.
I like the set-up. Nice and quiet inside with little road noise.
My problem is most of the stereo sound comes from below up into cab area.
I don't like the lack of crisp clear highs . I would like the highs to be around head (or ear height) .
I still have factory dash speakers .
Not sure what I need to bring the collective sound to the to the quality I'm looking for.
Maybe add sail panel tweeters with bass blockers .
Not sure what bass blockers to buy though.
    Or better dash speakers ?
I do like the factory head unit and aps. And don't really want to change it if I don't have to.
I have around $1500+ in audio now.
And like it. But just looking for that little extra to bring it all together.
And help would be much appreciated !

Are the sail panel and dash speakers disconnected with the new system that you installed, or are they part of the new system?

Factory dash speakers still hooked up.
My truck didn't come with sail panel speakers in front doors.
I unplugged rear door sail speakers.

There are several options here you have.
-For imaging and bringing the sound "up" a sail panel tweeter is probably the best option. I'm not an audio expert by any means, but I don't think with the tweeter properly crossed over that you'll need bass block.
-You could replace dash speakers with 2 or 3 ohm if not already and draw some more power to the high side.
-If listening to music from a bluetooth phone. The native music app under settings for iPhone will allow you to adjust the EQ a little more. While not a great fix, it's an option. The same thing goes for Spotify. I have no idea about Android phones, but I'm sure it's the same type of setup.

But for a permanent solution the Sail panel is probably the best bet as an aftermarket tweeter can be directed to set that sound stage up a little better around head height.

Or maybe even tuning what you have.

James also has a dash tweeter upgrade using JL or infinity tweeters.
You'll need to run wires to your amp though, because the dash speakers are powered by the head unit.
