Finally got around to getting rid of some of the chrome.
    - OEM gloss black window trim
    - Rave Offroad gloss black door handles
    - Rave Offroad gloss black tailgate handle
    - removed the chrome door trim.

Waiting on more parts to arrive to finish deleting the chrome
    - mirror caps, rear bumper caps, ALL the grill stuff

This chrome caps look awesome! I’m looking for those colored mirror covers also for my 2016 1794 in sunset bronze. Where did you find them?

I guess the bronze color matching is hard to find or I’m not a good looker.

I got them from Rave Offroad. Little bit of a wait but holy crap the paint work is unreal. Couldn't be happier with them.

Another step in the chrome delete process. Rear bumper caps are swapped

No more chrome on the front. Got OEM color matched parts and swapped the grey trd grille out for a black one.

Where did you get your color matched and what are you doing with your gray TRD one? I’m toying with some different grill ideas.

I ordered the OEM paint ready parts and had my buddy that has a shop paint them for me.

I don’t have the best patience with plastic tabs so pretty much everything that came off has more broken tabs than not so they’ll probably just be making it to the dumpster.

I did order a few color matched parts from Rave Offroad. Mirror caps, rear bumper caps, and door handle covers. They have the painted matched mustache available too but it was almost $800 for that. I’ve got less than $300 in the mustache by just ordering the parts and getting them painted

Pretty much final form. Only thing left is the NYTOP axle dump exhaust tip. Just ran out of time today

That turned out to be a much bigger pain than expected. I heated them up with a blow dryer and used fishing line. then rubbed the adhesive off with thumbs, goo gone, and pro sol. absolutely sucked.

yeah i really hoped the adhesive was going to peel up with the emblem since the truck is so new but man the emblems came right off and left all the solid strips of 3m

Think the exhaust tip was the last piece of chrome remaining. Got rid of that and threw on a NYTOP axle dump tip.
