    Not sure if anyone can help me on this issue.
    The navigation at time randomly stop working. The "fix" I found has been completely turning off the truck and pulling the key out. Once I turn the truck back on, the navigation starts working. But even then it can be seconds it will stops working or 30 mins then it stops working.
    I am not sure if its the memory card or the computer that is the problem.
    I attached the error message that appears.

    "update 7/24/20204"
    I recently traveled 630 miles with the truck and the head unit randomly restarted on its own once but all the rest of the electronics where fine. The navigation "pretty lady" voice speaks clearly a few sentences then all of a sudden started talking like a angry fax machine. Could it be a bad memory card?

    I've never messed w/it, but I'd try popping the SD card out and re-inserting it (although I assuming that from your photo you've already done that)....

    Usually the first step on any electronic issues w/the head unit is to press the volume knob and hold it down which triggers the system to restart (kinda like turning your phone on and off)...

    The next step would be to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery; wait for 10-15 minutes; then re-connect the terminal and turn the vehicle on. This triggers a reset of the ECU and other systems, although I'm guessing the issue is contained w/in the head unit itself.

    I'd then contact a service advisor/manager at a local dealership to see what they recommend and potential costs... I'm guessing a couple hundred for a new card from Toyota (the only problem w/this route is if it's within the head unit itself and not the hard :notsure:

    Here's an example of a used one on eBay... https://www.ebay.com/itm/312814477234

    Also, know that you can usually find complete head units here on the forum in the BST area for a reasonable price if you're wanting to stay OE

    @Tripleconpanna
    sorry just read your post somehow I didn't get the notification when you posted.

    you are correct I have already re-inserted the card a few times and it made no difference. But your suggestion with the volume knob I have not tried and didn't know it was a thing I will give that a try. The negative terminal option I have also thought and was thinking the same, Its just head unit the display screen where the gauges are I have not issue at all, everything else works fine. I was thinking it could be a bad card but not sure if that is possible.

    Thanks for the help

    I can't help with your issue, but if it comes to it I have the OEM HU I just pulled out of my '19 that I'd let go pretty cheap. (Non-JBL)
