I’m in the middle of addressing some front end issues and upon removing the CV axle on the drivers side this dust shield came off with the CV and fell on the ground so I wasn’t able to see where it was originally seated.I’m not sure if it was apart of the CV or if the dust shield was originally sealed to the differential end? I got a reman Napa CV and it doesn’t have a shield on it. I got the napa cv in and hit it with a mallet hard enough to where I can’t remove it by hand but I still feel like the gap is too big between the diff seal and inner portion of the CV. Do I need to replace the dust shield? For anybody that’s using napa CV axles, does this look like it’s seated far enough on the diff? Any input is appreciated. IMG_9243.jpgIMG_9246.jpg
