Like the title says, my tundra got new leather interior. I decided on Katzkins leather that were purchased from John Huey at affordable auto leather. He has a thread on this forum. Great person to deal with and answered all my questions. I have never had leather in any vehicle I have owned. I also went with the degrees heat and cool option which works pretty good. Now I don’t have anything to compare to but the degrees work well for me. After talking with John I decided on the Katzkins Nightrunner design with a Charcoal wrap and Barracuda Flint insert and wings with black stitching. I could not be more happy about the colors and design on my seats now. It came out perfect. I am really liking the leather.

Agree with everyone else that it looks great and whoever did it, did an excellent installation with no wrinkles.

I did not do it. After researching I decided this was best to leave to the pros. I’m happy with it. Yes it cost money but they did a great job on it.

Thank you everyone. I’m very happy with it. The heaters work damn good. Now I probably will never own a vehicle without leather. The installers did a great job.

Looks nice! Wish I could afford the install, I can afford the leather, but around here they are killing it on install.

Looks awesome! Where did they mount the switches for the heat/cool? Mine are mounted on outside of seat bottoms, next to the electric adjustment controls (driver’s seat). Only disadvantage is you can’t see the LED lights to see what level, so you have to count the clicks.

    Here is my interior.

What’s that thing in the little coin holder thingy with the buttons? A switchbox?

That’s a SwitchPro. I haven’t hooked anything up to it yet, hence the white buttons with no labels.

I mounted mine in the same position although it's slightly crooked (or tilted towards the driver for easier use?). Was looking at the SDHQ surround with the flush cutout for the SP9100 but couldn't justify the $179 or whatever they want for the saddle tan leather version plus the huge SDHQ logo on the shifter surround turned me off of it.

I like that location a lot better. I should have told my installers to mount them there.

Have you had any issues with the plastic ducts that they installed in the seat back and bottom that supply air for the ventilation? I was able to feel the duct in my back rest, so they had to remove the cover and trim the end of the duct twice. I can feel the duct in the seat bottom too, if the seat bottom is moved to its lowest position. I really don’t understand how this could happen, as the installer I used was one if Katzkin’s designated installers, and had done countless installations.

I went with Storm leather with Frost stitching. They had a promo on the Tuscany (upgraded) leather, so I went with that, though they only use the upgraded leather on the parts of the seat that your body actually touches (not the headrests). The back seats are 100% vinyl, which I have mixed feelings about.

I can’t feel anything in the seat back or bottom. That was one of the things that I was concerned with, feeling the duct work in the seats. The installer really did a great job.
