My new 2021 1794 drivetrain issue

    Well what a bummer. I have less than 400 mi and have to leave it at the dealership for a drive train whining noise. Let's hope it is something simple and not a transmission or something..

    Thanks for the update that you have an issue, we were all hanging on by a thread waiting to see if you were going to take it to a dealer and get it rectified.

    Yea, it's at the dealership. I haven't had the truck even a week yet. As soon as I get an answer from them I'll post it on here for shared knowledge

    Did they say what it was in the diff that was causing the noise? Bummer on a brand new truck.

    They say the differential will go back to Toyota complete. We will probably never know.

    Big time bummer. Brand new truck. I have put less than 100mi on it.

    My last tundra was problem free for the 3yrs I had it. I expected the same on this one hence I bit the bullet and spent the money for...
