Muthco Signal Mirrors

Has anyone installed the Muthco Signal Mirrors? Looking at installing these on my CM

I’ve got them installed on my old 16 Tundra

 

Awesome How do you like them? And How was the install?

 

I love them, install was fairly straightforward. The wiring for the signals is already pinned into the mirror harness on the truck.

 

Does the oem cap fit on these?

 

With these you’re just replacing the mirror glass, everything else remains the same

 

Thanks I didn’t know that they are already pinned in the mirror harness! I hope its the same for a 2014. Thanks for advice I’m going to order some and puddle lights too since I'm in there.

 

Are you going with VLED puddle lights? If you buy the 2 pin extension harnesses and a y adapters you can tie them in with the under dash light without having to splice into any factory wiring

 

Yeah I was going to get the VLEDS puddle lights! Do they sell the 2 pin extension harnesses and a y adapters on their site?

I going to order everything tonight. I didnt know that wiring for the signals is already pinned into the mirror harness that will save a lot of time for the installation.

 

Seeing you used my pics in the OP, I'll say I have the Muth mirrors in my 2014 SR5.

I couldn't find a turn signal feed in the mirror plug in my 2014 back in 2015 when I installed mine.
I had to tap in in the front kickplate wiring like the instructions told me to.

I also didn't have the wiring diagram back then..
Maybe you will find it...



Just follow the Muth instructions and it is easy to swap them.




I made my own puddle lights (using VELD puddle lights) and tied them into the little footwell light in the driver's floorboard.
Also tapped in LED footwell lights front and rear.

 

Awesome. Yo I like them lights on the floorboard! When I travel it would be nice to have a floor board lights for the kids in the back.

 

Keep in mind with them tapped into the little floorboard light, they only come on when you unlock or open the doors.
If you need them switched on for any reason while driving, I'd find a tap in to the interior roof light..
