"Mustache" Chrome Delete

Hi All, It's been a while since I have posted. I recently traded in my 2014 two-wheel-drive SR5 4.6 Tundra for a 2025 Tundra 4X4 with the TRD Off-Road package. I have become a person who dislikes chrome on modern vehicles, so I want to remove the chrome surround on my grill and back bumper. I have seen the Cali Raised brand and other brands, but I am wondering if anyone can tell me from experience which brand is worth it or what you think or maybe some other options? Thanks in advance.

 

Well by golley you're the first person to ever ask that question after 3+ years of the truck being out....if only there was a way to search for such information

I've had the chromestoppers mustache and bumper chrome deletes for 2 years, 0 issues and great color match to lunar rock

 

I thought 24 and 25s got rid of the chrome.

My local tint shop recommended I just replaced the parts on the surround. I am checking with ReveMoto to see if they can match the paint color.

 

You’d think Toyota would have listened over the past 3 years that 90% of owners didn’t like the chrome stach. Was ass backwards that the base model had color matched grille surround but TRD OR package got the chrome. They actually made it worst by discontinuing the TRD Sport that kept the color matched stach.
Thank God that they got rid of all chrome on 2024+ TRD OR package for the Limited!
I’d like to try a 1794 TRD but not going to put up with all that chrome on it.
Maybe they will rectify this in 2026?

Was this your video? It was one of the first ones I watched. How long have you had the se on your truck?

 

If you look at my plate, I literally just bought my car and this was the 1st mod I did at that time. So as of right now, its almost 1 year since I've installed it. There is another video I saw on Youtube who did an install so I pulled the trigger on it. Never been happier apart from the little "cracks" of chrome you can see which I pointed out in my video. 100% would recommend it to get rid of the chrome. Its been through a handful of rainy days, extremely hot Cali days, long road trip from CA to CO, OK, and TX. So it's held up very well. My 2022 came with color matched mustache, fender flares and bumper. The only chrome is the Toyota grill emblem which I like as is. It was the last one available at the time so I was lucky that I got a mostly non chrome one.
