Has anyone else had this issue?

It has happened twice now. Android phone bluetoothed in, all the sudden music stops playing but still shows as playing. Disconnect and re onnect does nothing. Rebooting system on tundra did nothing. Shutting truck off and on did nothing.

Randomly hit google Assistant and music started playing that was showing playing with no sound.
Once google Assistant was finished listening the music was muted again. Hit google Assistant again and music plays. Rinse repeat.
It wasn't until I had shut the truck off and let it sit over night then worked as normal the next day.
    Super annoying.
Should have taken a video but was so frustrated when it was happening I didn't think of it.
Hopefully doesn't happen again but if it does will try and record just to document.

Are you using Waze by any chance? I had an issue on CarPlay a while back where it was hijacking audio thinking it was announcing something. A reinstall of that app fixed it once, but sometimes I had to completely kill the app. Are you using Android Auto or just straight Bluetooth?

I have a similar issue with android auto and pandora. Sometimes when I get in the truck everything connects and pandora says it's playing, but there's no sound. Switching the station to something different and then back has always fixed it for me.
