Somehow my Tundra took damage to left, front mud flap BUT not the one at rear of wheel well. Instead, it's the shorter, rubber piece that attaches on front side of wheel well, near bumper. It took some mystery damage on the edge and is hanging by one side. WHAT IS THIS PIECE CALLED? If I type in "mudguard," it only shows the larger, rear-facing flap.

You likely hit something, then the tire flattened it and spit it out the back safely.

Those are some kind of "airflaps" I've heard.

No idea on their official name, sorry.

Body shop ordered me some assembly for $59 from Houston warehouse. I'll pick it up tomorrow. Some guy there said he'd put it on for free. Apparently, despite piece of rubber having two screws, I can't buy the piece of rubber to replace my damaged piece. It comes with the "assembly."

It appears one screw worked it's way loose somehow (only 5,000 miles on '21 truck) then swung over and down a bit and, perhaps with aid of wind, made continuous contact with front left tire at 80+ mph for hours. It looked like someone had taken a cutting tool and carved away a curved-shaped 40% of the item. Hopefully this goes well tomorrow.

I wonder if this is under warranty?

Thx. Odd below that the dates stop at 2013. And I wonder if replacement screws are included. It's tough not being conversant in these things!

Oh dang - didn’t realize this one stopped at 2013. Let me see if I have mine handy in the garage… you need the bracket and both bolts as well?

I don't know about bracket. I know I need bolts. Nothing was loose but rubber part, hanging by one bolt and (rubber/plastic) partly devoured by tire. Thx
