This was a pretty good morning for the wildlife in my area. On the way to drop off my daughter we seen our normal deer, people walking their dogs, jogging, and a bear cub at my kids school. This was the first time she has seen a bear in the wild. What do you think a 2nd grader wanted to do?

Yep, catch it and bring it home.

    Kids.

This is the cub at full stride. It scared the living hell out of a jogger this morning. It ran towards her and then darted past. Forgot how fast they are...

Trust me, I was looking all over. That is a bad position to be in. The jogger was even in a worse spot. I had was ready to go if the mother bear came out.. That is why I could only get two pics shot due to putting the phone down. My hands were kinda full. The cub was the least of my worries at that point. Black bears usually are not a threat.

Now the last time I was up in Glacier National Park we got into a small issue with dogs, people, grizzly cubs and mommy. Not good. I am so glad my dogs listen to voice commands. I put them inside the 4Runner so fast and got my ass back inside like a sprinter.

I seen that. Crazy shit huh?

Montana is no joke when the food chain comes into play.

My going away to the military party was in early June, 93' in the mountains. We took a few friends up camping and got careless with the food and had a rather large visitor. Not one of us brought a rifle or shotgun due to all the heavy drinking (probably a good idea). I'm glad the rather large male grizzly was more interested in the bloody steaks then our asses. The only thing you seen from me was my elbow's and asshole.

North Idaho is the same way. Bears everywhere. Bears scare me but when I have my daughter with me, cougars scare me more.

Yeah, I made fun of her but inside my inner fat kid was craving some orange chicken.
I swear Panda Express is like if Colonel Sanders and Willy Wonka adopted a Chinese baby.
