Morimoto gen 2 installed but, trailer break lights don't work

Love the new gen 2 Morimoto headlight. I installed them over the weekend. Installation was super easy and everything worked great when I was done. Went to hook up my trailer and all the light work except my trailer break lights. Truck has break lights but, not the trailer. My truck is a 17 that came with the halogen headlights. Has anyone run into this issue? Any info would be much appreciated

I have the same headlights on the same truck and do not have this issue. Could the problem be unrelated to the headlight install? Did you splice any wires during install or possibly pop a fuse?

 

@TucsonTundra1794 everything worked great after installation so I'm really at a loss on this one. The only lights that don't work are the trailers break lights

 

Does the truck have a fuse for the trailer break lights?

 

Did you add the new circuit board under the dash when you did your instal?

 

I did not, I only ran wires under the hood. No circuit board under the dash

 

Update...The H135 non dlr relay that was recommended was not needed. Luckily I held onto the factory circuit board. Put it back in and all lights work including trailer lights.
