So I purchased an Air on Board momentary switch that I will install next to my “tow” button by the steering wheel. I see that there are 4 wires. (12v power, ground, 12v switched power, and one that goes to the accessory).

My question is, can I just piggy back off one of the other dash lit switches in the area? Seems to be easy access to 12v constant, and 12 v switched (when lights are on). Or should I run power straight from the battery for the 12v constant?

You can tap into any other wire for the 12v switch nearby, the amperage is pretty small. The 12v constant though, depending on what you're running, may be smarter to run it via an add-a-fuse that replaces the accessory fuse. I use that for 12v "constant" (don't need switches activated if the car is off) which powers the relays I have set up in the engine bay

thanks for the input. Do you have any recommended sources for an ignition switched on source in the engine bay? This would be for the switched signal to signal the 30amp relay to turn on.
