I had my driver side seat creaking and my side panel had cracked. Dealer replaced it but forgot to put the rail protectors pictures below. Also a question for owners who had the same work done - Is your lumbar support switch wired backwards? Mine is and I talked my advisor and the tech tried to fix it but no success. If I want lumbar support to protude I would have to press the forward switch but when I do that it retracts.

Can't they just rotate this switch 180 deg or rewire it? Dealer response - we tried. That's just how Toyota makes the part. I smell BS.

Tech added felt tape to driver seat left side rail.

    IMG_E3876.jpg
    Driver seat right side rail.

Passenger seat left side rail with protector.

Passenger seat right side rail with felt tape? But the tech never touched this seat.

This is where I need yalls help could you send me pictures showing that our trucks come with these protectors from factory. The sad part is I know the tech who did it I just can't understand why he would throw away perfectly working parts.

don't know what happened but the first rule is to always check the dealers work, when possible, before leaving the dealership - make them fess up and fix it when they screw up. They take short cuts and leave stuff loose and off in many cases. GL.

My seats have the felt on them. My truck hasn't been in for anything concerning the seats.

The dealer agreed that the tech was at fault and ordered me new covers. Didn’t give me a hard time or anything kinda surprised.

You’re the first owner of your truck right? Did your seat panel or frame ever get replaced?

Hopefully they have the part in hand ready to roll.
