I have a 2020 crewax, with 23K miles on it from new, and had an issue with valve rocker spitting out around 9000miles and scraping a exhaust reluctor lobe, which was fixed by replacing, and no issues with compression or leak down test to check if valves were bent. I also have done a recent oil analysis test, no abnormal metals or undesired results of varios materials to be found.

Once in a while lately after sitting overnight I get a misfire code on a single cyclinder, the engine runs rough, I clear the code, and then restart and it is normal again, it keeps moving to various cylinders, but number 2 cylinder is frequent, but not always there, at times cylinder 3 and 5 have also reported misfire.

I also plugged in the techstream and did the compression test based on engine RPM with no fuel/spark supplied by techstream switching those supplies of, the readings were 178 too 182 rpm for 10 second duration as recommended by techstream.

I also notice on techstream that after a run, ie home to son's school to work, which is about 17miles, the ECU is logging below 10 misfires, various cylinders are reported it seems, but not sure on this. This does not throw a code, and engine feels good. These misfires is normal, considering that I am in the middle of summer in Dubai, and it is hot here all the time, lowest temp now in 24hour period is 95F

My oil is about 3125miles old and filter too, using liquimoly 0w-20 full synthetic.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
So they don't even show up as Pending codes? If not I guess the threshold has not been met, yet.

Why not let the dealer sort this out?

I am in Dubai, and the Tundra is not officially sold here, but I took a risk to buy a car much cheaper than what Toyota sells cars here for from the monopoly dealer, and hoping the toyota reliabity I would get away with!!!!

Anyhow no misfires today, I am suspecting that the gas cap was not on tight, 1 click is what it says. Also I am amused that the gas cap, or it's flap is not locked, dont people steal the gas out of these things.
