About a month ago, the driver side mirror on my '20 CrewMax started to delay before it folded. The PS works fine.
It seemed to fold fine, closing smoothly with no strange noises.
The delay kept get longer over a few weeks, and now it wont fold at all.
Does any one have any ideas? Maybe an electrical schematic of the mirror circuit? (23NOV Update edit: I did find the Ultimate Wiring Diagram Collection. Now to find the right information. Fist Bump and a cold beer to [OP] RainMan_PNW {Casey}! Thanks for the share.)
Relay contacts? I assume both mirrors are on the same circuit?
I did the man look for other threads, but didn't find anything close.
It is annoying because I like to keep the Dumbo ears folded in parking lots. Since most parking lot stalls are made for roller skates, not the land yachts of old. I worry about someone knocking one off.

    Thanks in advance!

    A couple of questions:

    1) when you say “delay” do you mean that the DS mirrors would fold in at the normal speed just a second or two after the PS mirror folded in?

    2)Your truck is a 2020 - I assume it’s still under warranty, no?

No, I am talking 10-30 seconds after the PS mirror folded.
Yeah, warranty is still on. I just hate going to the Stealer, especially without some subject knowledge.
Have had some past bad experience with careless techs doing more damage than they fixed.

Sounds like a short. If you have a volt ohm meter, pull the door panel off (it’s simple but get come replacement clips) and take the mirror off. You can test the plug to see if it is getting power (which I would assume no since it’s stopped folding altogether). I don’t have the wiring schematic but somebody on here must. If it has no power you may just have to trace the wire which I believe goes under the DS kick plate to isolate the problem. Unlikely that the mirrors are on separate circuits. I would take it to the dealer - that’s why you bought a new truck. Welcome to the board

Thanks for the welcome, Matt. (sorry, that was too easy)
I have been thinking failing relay contact or loose connection.

Just a bump to see if anyone else had any information on the subject.
Extra door panel clips should be here tomorrow.
