This is just silly shit in the home garage, should never be pulled apart. I decided to get one good set of Packout for the house while the $150 deal is still going on. I'll be back getting the the cool stuff at work soon. Heck, I have two of the Milwaukee dollies rolling around my desk.

I have the diamondback cross bin at the bulkhead but I would have definitely done that if I didn’t already have the cross bin

No luck trying to get a price match on the super buy via online web chat. May try to hit up the local store to see if they take pity on me.

Long story short, what I call my go bag (Veto Propack MB5, Kline hand tools, and a Fluke) that I keep on my golf cart at work when I get pulled away from my building and office decided to disappear some time in the last 3 weeks. So I had a free pass and thought because these aren't my main tools to just go almost all Milwaukee for the fun of it, except for the meter that will always be a Fluke and the combination wrenches that are just to expensive for the quality. I will still need to go to Lowes and get the Kilne security bit driver that I perfer. So what do you think, nervous about the Channel Locks, crescent wrenches, and strippers?

Sucks you lost your tools I hate when shit just disappears:rolleyes:
    The strippers are solid
What's with the funky ends on the channels? I've tried many different channel locs over the years (robo grips, self adjusters ,push button) and always come back to the original Channellock straight jaws my go to pair I've had for at least 10 yrs
The crescent wrenches I'm sure are good I consider them disposable tools anyway

All my Channel lock have only been blue for the last 20 years. I'm sure I will hate them and probably the bag. Kinda can do what ever I want for tools as long as I can account for them (never needed to), probably will be thrown in the tool box and replaced in a couple of months I'm sure.

Nice haul! Bummer about the circumstances, though.

I like the strippers, I just wish they had a crimper on them. I understand why they don't, but I'm so used to my old Kleins that I always get mad that I have to walk back over to the toolbox and pull out the dedicated (and much better than combo) crimpers. Ha.

The crescent wrenches are solid for crescent wrenches. A lot lets jaw wiggle than most other brands I've used. The finish will mar a little easier than some, though, and they are a little heavy (because, Milwaukee...). But I still like them.

The Milwaukee slip pliers work great. I think they have a little more wobbly feel, but once you close them, they are solid. I honestly like blue channel locks, but I am an infrequent channel lock user and cannot be considered an connoisseur of slip-jaw jigger gadgets. That said, the Irwin Groovelocks are my favorite, even though they have to be adjusted two handed unless you have some serious skill.

They end of the plier handles are meant for punching out knock outs by hand, which is why they aren't covered. Occasionally, they like to pinch the end user if they aren't being careful..

I’ve been happy with the crescent wrenches.
Curious to hear your take on the Chanel locks.
And no experience with the strippers

I will be straight honest - I preferred the ergonomics of my DW 20v oscillator tool to that of the fuel 18v. Except that the DW was a “feather trigger” for speed adjustment vs the dial and fixed trigger on the Milwaukee. DW’s blade change setup is so nice, as is their dust collection and depth stop setup.

now, however, I’ve added a 12v Milwaukee fuel to the arsenal and am looking forward to checking it out against the larger options. I think for my use case it’s going to be the sweet spot…but I will still miss the DW blade change.
