I’m not knocking it if it is actually correct but I’ve had Tiny since she was brand new. She has always shown 408 miles to the tank (38Gallon). This last fill up she now says 584 miles til empty. Could there be a sensor problem?

thank you in advance for any information.

My 2020 usually shows 411 on full tank unless a took a mostly highway trip prefill up the. It’s closer to 430 ( also with 38 gal tank) so I’d say something's up

She was just in a body shop for hail damage and I’m hyper vigilant about everything with her now. I’ll go to a dealership service and have them hook her up.

    thank you very much

Likely the battery just got disconnected at the body shop and the ECU has to relearn parameters. Will take a few tanks to do so.

Do you think the body shop disconnected the battery while it was there?

Check the build link in my signature.
    This for sure
I’ve had my battery unplugged so many times the past few weeks that my tank average shows between 10 and 12 mpg (lots of short hilly trips) and my distance to empty says 500+ miles. Every time I disconnect the battery, both reset and have to recalibrate over the course of a few tanks.

No way I would trust something that has a set outcome. The gas mileage calculator needs many tanks to figure out your driving habits. 2 years in my 2020 and it still says I get 10mpg. When I do the math I'm getting 12. Maybe the problem is it takes me 6-8 weeks to need to refuel.

They disconnected the battery while fixing your truck. MPG will take a tank or two to "relearn" MPG based on how you drive. Its gonna come back down.

    Alot of them
Guarantee that they did. Most body shops will so that they don't set off the airbags.

She was completely torn apart so I’m sure they did. Thank you so much for the responses.
