So turned the AC on and it sounded like an airplane taking off. Took it to the dealership and got the call I had a mouse make a nest by the AC blower motor…nice little bill to fix. Any suggestions so this doesn’t happen again? I’ve seen peppermint oil, but wondered if anyone had a better idea? My truck sits outside…I’m open for any suggestions at this point

You can pull off the wiper cowl on passeger side and throw some gutter-guard on the opening for "fresh" air...I had the same issue too many times in a row and installed it...took all of 30 min...I also put a few drops of peppermint or lavender oil on the cabin filter...which is located in the glove box...these are the only photos I have...haven't had an issue since the gutter-guard FWIW

If it's more than one then it's pronounced "meeses".

Same for more than one moose.

Spraying peppermint oil does seem to help. Also, don't keep any food in your truck -- that'll just attract them. You can also set traps around your front wheels (peanut butter makes a great attractant) or even under the hood.
