I haven’t seen them on a 2G Tundra yet. I’d like a set in bronze. The math says they’d sit 1” further out, giving you an extra 1/2” clearance on the inside (8-1/2” width vs 8” stock).

I have them, in gloss black on my 21 Tundra. I ordered them on the day they were released. I'm finally at peace with my wheel selection, after going through multiple different sets. I think it's the perfect size and offest. If I think of it I'll post a pic tomorrow morning.

Sure, this is one I happen to have on the phone qujick, it's raining at the moment. You can see how they sit anyway. 295/70/18.

Just ordered these with the +40 offset but they seem to be on backorder. Anyway you or anyone else could post a few more pictures from the side and front? Hoping my tires sit flush with the fenders.

I can tomorrow if I think of it. These barely poke out at all, compared to a 9 inch wheel with +25 offset. These sit about like an aggressive factory wheel in my opinion,

Awesome, thats exactly what im going for. Ive had the aggressive offset on trucks in the past and got tired of how much crap would get slung off the tires and onto the body.

Here's a picture of the bronze Method 318s. Sorry I don't know the specs other than they are 18s. I already had to replace the tires shown in the picture. 30 miles into driving it home for the first time and one tire just blew out completely for no known reason. 70 on the freeway but the truck handled great and was able to pull over quickly. Luckily no rim damage (and no damage to the human). I do have a close up picture of the rims if you like. I think they look really good (bit biased). Gives a wagon wheel style. Compliments the green of the truck.

Looks awesome! I’ve always been a fan of clean single cabs but you dont see them often. I would like to see a shot from the front so I can see how far they poke. If you have 18’s than your wheels are either 18x8.5 +40 or 18x9 +18. I ordered the 18x8.5 +40 but was just told they wont be shipping until May 21st. I’ll be sure to post pics once they’re on.

Here's from the front. They were ordered and installed all last week so they may be the 18x9 +18. I couldn't find anything on the rim itself to confirm size.

I love them. Super easy to clean with a rag, and not some crazy offset making the truck look like I'm attention-starved.

Finally came in! 18x8.5 +40 offset. Tires are 275/70R18 KO2’s (not new, already on truck). Perfect offset IMO. IMG_6461.jpgIMG_2439.jpgIMG_2438.jpgIMG_2450.jpg

I might have to order a set when they run a sale. Anyone running these with 285/70/18 tire?

Are you still running the 295’s with the 40 offset? How much room is there? Did you have to cut much? Not much info at all about +40 offset especially with 295s. Thanks

yes, still running the same as above. about 2 3/4 lift in front, none in back. no cutting . I only aligned it myself so there was no rubbing. I think it is the perfect wheel specs for our trucks.. also...the michelins I put are are excellent

Coming into this thread late but used it to make my decision so I thought I’d share…I had 2.5 gen trd wheels w Toyo MT’s same size that rubbed with a 2” leveling kit to take MOST rake out (the block on top of spring only measures 1” but raised the front 2”) 5yrs later after tires wore and wheels began to peel, upgraded to these 18” Method MR318’s 18x8.5 +40 (factory was +60) Bronze with Toyo R/T trails275/70/18 no rub new! At first glance I thought to myself “oh no, what have I done to my girl!?” But the wheels have grown on me…notice people looking at the wheels often, possibly out of disgust, LOL, i appreciate all the great info I’ve gleaned off this site for many years, thank you guys![IMG][IMG][IMG]

Tricky question…Purchased off Amazon on sale, I’ve wired the amber LED blinker to be the DRL, so in short, yes the amber halo runs as a DRL but is thru a relay needing additional 12v and to a switch in my dash because I wanted to be able to shut the Raptor’s &/or halo’s off. They come factory directing you to wire up the white DRL halo. If swapped directly with factory, you will not have a halo, just a fog light.

new to this -- so if I have a '21 TRD OR, stock tire size, am I correct that these wheels should have no clearance issues? I do a lot of towing and I need to stay close to stock. Very limited selection of aftermarket wheels with all the same specs as stock.

Nope, you’ll be good. Can probably go up a tire size and still be fine.

I just think the +40 offset is about perfect for these trucks. Slightly wider stance without screaming "look at me!!". It seems that pretty much only Tundra owners appreciate the offset because it's only slightly different from stock, but if you've owned a stock truck before it sticks out for sure.

When my Cooper Rugged Treks are finally done next spring (going to get 60k out of them and they've been awesome!), I'll be ordering some 318's and going with 295/70r18 Cooper AT3 XLTs.

I agree! They are basically flush with the fenders. I have 275/70R18’s on it now but will probably go up to 285’s when it’s time. These were the only wheels I found that had both the look and offset I was looking for.

@Mike1305 just ordered a set of the 318s in 40 offset. Are you running a leveling kit with the 275/70R18s or stock suspension? Either way, are you experiencing any rub with trimming? Thanks in advance
