I was excited to hear of the new Tundra last year as I traded my 2012 for a 2017 F150 King Ranch 5 years ago. With a little over 70k miles, the transmission jumped around like a “cat on a hit tin roof” and the dealers had no one to even look at it. The sunroof was broken in the shut position and I hadn’t opened it in a year and it was on it’s 3rd oil pan….nothing but street driving.

I traded about a month ago on a 2022 Capstone and have been very pleased. Getting about 19.5 MPG in suburban driving. I bought the Diamondback HD cover and love that as well. The security, weatherproofness, and the fact that I can carry up to 1600 lbs on top is awesome. I had a 2006 Tundra that my nephew still drives in college and am very glad to be back in the brand.

I was concerned about the turning radius, but I have found that with all the cameras and the big screen, I literally back everytime I park. I back in my garage every night and it’s easier than pulling forwards.

I haven’t noticed any visibility issues to speak of. I like how the truck sits up high on the larger wheels and tires.

That’s a good looking truck. I love the diamondback cover!
