So, I recently ordered and the Meso Customs ultimate dome and map lights set. Unfortunately, I've already trashed the factory incandescent bulbs. I noticed something and was just wondering if it was only me that it's happening to or if it's a result/consequence of installing these lights. Anyways, when I set the map and dome lights to "DOOR" to come on when a door opens, it no longer turns on. They do come on when I set the switch "ON" and turn off when I set to switch to "OFF". I was just curious if anyone else was having the same occurrence.

Mine work just fine on door, not super helpful, but sounds like yours is having an issue of some sorts.

Mine is fine in both Tacoma and Tundra.

I agree with above, something is screwy.

Just curious, did you disconnect the battery when you installed? Some trucks act differently to these things so it can get hard to pin point.

Also, I did not disconnect mine, or remove the entire map / dome assembly, just removed the lens cover.

have read recently on here that you can modify the dome light setting on the head unit by going to settings then auto and there should be the dome light settings. I think you can set the time the lights are on including setting the time to off. A reset can happen when you disconnect the battery.

^^^This. Because I disconnected the battery to do the install, light setting was reverted to off. Changed it to 30 sec and all is good.
