I received my second key fob last week. I am now trying to set my original fob to the #1 seat setting. I get in my truck, start it, then press and hold the lock button and the #1, but nothing happens. I am following the user manual. Am I doing something wrong?

Rather than starting the truck just put it into "accessory" mode and try the procedure.

Maybe.... but it is nice to have it automagically happen for you.

I’m 6’5 and my wife is 5’4. If she drives before me, I can’t get in my truck right away. I have to open the door and wait for the seat to lower and move all the way back. If it is programmed to the key fobs, it saves time to get in.

Following... I have the same issue, dealer visits have been pretty useless, one told me I had to have 2 keys, other told me that's not a feature on my platinum trim.

    I have the same issue.

I brought my fob and phone out to my truck, set up a new profile for me, adjusted the mirrors, the driving position and exit seats. Tested it out, worked perfect.

I brought the second fob out with my wife's phone, set up a new profile for her, adjusted the mirrors, driving position and exit seats. Tested it out, worked perfect.

Then I bring my fob and phone back to my truck, and it's all preset to my wife's parameters. So I adjust everything back to where I want it.

A month goes by and my wife drives my truck with her fob and phone, and it doesn't remember any of her presets and everything is adjusted only to my parameters.

Annoying as heck. The phone and profiles seem to work fine, but the truck is operating as if we're only using one fob with the seats and mirrors.

My wife's 2017 Suburban works flawlessly when we use two different fobs.

if i remember correctly, you can only have main profile set to a single fob (tundra doesnt have the ability to define 2 profiles in the head unit, so you cant define 2 different fobs)

the memory settings are an outlier since they are independent of the main profile of the head unit
