Took the rig to the local Toyota guy and he swears that my wheel shimmy/vibration is coming from spacers and wheel/tire combo. Since I just bought the rubber I'm not going to get new tires.

Apparently I need one piece billet wheels with the "correct" offset (eliminating the spacers). I haven't seen the issue yet that he's talking about but supposedly I have 2 or 3 jacked up studs on each spacer. So yeah does anyone have a clue about what offset I should use if I currently run Fuel Shoks with +1 offset and 1.5" spacers? The backspacing on these is 5.04"

    Thanks.

If they're good hub centric spacers I highly doubt they are causing your issue.

A few... Definitely more than 2
+1 offset and a 1.5" spacer (~38.1mm) would put you in right around -37 offset, somewhere in that range (-35 to -40).

Somebody else may chime in about your spacers though, from what I have read on this forum, a proper spacer shouldn't give you any problems

I don't think the hub centric is the issue per his phone call. The threads are shot. Makes me think the lug nuts aren't the right ones. Discount Tire put extended thread lugs on there the first time then when I went back to check balance, they replaced those with acorn style. Something isn't right.

Mechanic was also not happy about how much weight was placed on the wheels and stated that it shows a static balance not a road force like I was told they did.
