Measurements question!!

Hello guys and gals, I'm looking for measurements from stock up to what ever size life you may have of the distance from ground to top of the arch of the wheel well. The company who sold me my lift is asking for it because I told them my ass end is like 4 inches higher than the front and it doesn't even look like the front is lifted. So, if you have them, I'd like to bounce my numbers off of yours and go from there. My rear is sitting just under 42inches and my front is sitting at 38 inches. The 4 inches is definitely not my lift so hopefully i'll get some valuable feedback. I've been in talks with toytec and wheelers off road to try and fix this so hopefully something will come of it. Thank for any help.

Don't know from ground up, but prior to my lift I had 22" up front and 24" in the back from wheel center to the top of the arch of the fender. Mine is a G3 too in case that matters. Not sure if this helps.

dude riddle me this, how on earth am I sitting at 42 inches in the rear and 38 in the front, on a 2.5 inch suspension lift?

 

I seriously have no clue bro!

Maybe they jacked the rear up, put the coils on wrong, or didn't put the coils at the right height.

Did they put ANYTHING on the rear?? Seems like shackles or a 3" block?
The front sounds about right (should be closer to 39.5) but not the rear at all.
New rear shocks?

my 275 looks like a tiny doughnut in there. it's why I've been wanting to lift my truck because I didn't think it looked normal.

 

Then the rear is right....has to be the front. Should be up 1.5" more than it sits now

 

The other guy I was talking to @YotaDan said it seemed as if my front was sagging

well if the rear seems like a good number, which is what I was thinking, then i'll concentrate on the front.

 

I've got bilstein 6112 in front. Highest setting, 2.5". Rears 5160's, no blocks or anything, stock springs. Still stock rims n tires, Michelins. These are measurements from ground to fender.

 

Man I'm scratching my head.....
Only thing I can think of is maybe the coils are defective.
It can't be an adjustable problem since you have a spacer (that's what it looks like) or an alignment issue where it wouldn't give that much height......shit this is a weird one.

 

When I get home i'll take a tape to it and post them here, just so I know I'm not going crazy. Because the tape I put on the fenders looked nothing like this.

 

for a second I thought maybe they were adjustable and when the lift was put on, it was set to the lowest setting. It's not until now that it's starting to make me wonder. I just left well enough alone, but now my alignment is off and I'm hoping its this and it will be a simple fix.

 

Yeah hoping so! I can't think of anything else....maybe take it to an off-road shop for the alignment and see if they can make heads or tails of this clusterf**k

 

clusterfuck is what it is man. only shitty thing about this, I live an hour away from civilization so it's like a damn roadtrip to go anywhere.

 

RC 3" and 1.5" rear block w/ 34" tires has me at 41.5" in front and 42" in the rear

 

Better than busting a coil and having to hitchhike!

 

Just measured mine. 40.25 front and 41.5 rear on 3" BOSS setup and 1" block
And 275/70r18 (33") tires so yours should be at least 39.5 in front
