Hi all! New to the forum here, and in the market for a truck. I have never owned my own pick-up but have driven an '08 tundra for my employer for 6 years running. I love that thing! Anyway, I've been looking at several trucks, all different brands and would like some "professional" opinions on what I've found. Maybe some advice on what to look, or look out for? I've read up on these forums a little and seen some of what ya'll say to look out for but treat me like a newb! Dont hold back with comments or direction to information already shared. I appreciate everyone in advance. In an effort to join the Tundra Family here is what I was hoping for thought on... this link requires Facebook I believe as the listing is in FB marketplace but hopefully that isnt in issue for anyone to see it! Ps, if you think it's a great deal, please dont buy it out from under me! Lol. Having second thoughts now... Looking forward to hearing from anyone.

Good choice. I would say that's a good deal. Probably 2wd judging by the price so I wouldn't want it where I live but if that's not a problem where you are then that's a pretty good deal. Wait for some of the more experienced guys to weigh in. Also bear in mind that a 2004 (1st Gen) is quite a bit different than a 2008 (2nd Gen).

Edit: Just flipped through the photos and saw that it's 4wd. :facepalm:Dang, if it wasn't literally across the country you might have to worry about me getting it first. :D That's a crazy good price for that mileage.

If link isnt working for you I would ask of you have Facebook? It's a link to Facebook marketplace...

I see your point flightsimguy about the different generations, but as it is most second gens (and newer) are above my price range. I have never driven or even been in a first gen but would obviously test drive first and am confident in my love for Toyota already.

Also, glad you noticed it is 4wd, I had to find out the same way in the pics. I definitely need 4x4, upstate New York here!

    Welcome.

Everything else being equal that is a very good price for that truck. EDIT: great price. 112,000 miles? That's barely broken in.

    Good luck.

That is a good price. The local dealer who bought my 05 wants $16,000 for it and it had 175,000 miles.
