I cut a slit in the grommet for the cable and haven't had any water concerns. I might throw some duct tape on it just for the heck of it.

I just saw my bed stiffeners on Instagram :bananadance:. Getting closer to being done. And yes I'm lazy, so I am paying Stellarbilt to install the bed stiffeners.

My big ass spare tire apparently won't fit because of the shackles. It might be time to either join the RXT club or possibly K37.

I'm thinking of taking 2 spares to DV. So, at least one if not both in the bed.

Thanks for the info matt! I’ll give it a tray and maybe seal it with some plumbing tape for a water tight seal.
Hey getting the bedstiffy installed all together gets that much more knocked off the list.
Rxt’s Are nice definitely gives you the options. If you aren’t diving in those waters just yet you can just tie it down in the bed for now prop it up against the back of the bed to utilize the space and push the weight far forward!

    35x12.5. And it is a full 35 not 34.5.
    Agreed that would be better.

What do you think that SDHQ rack is going to end up costing? I'm thinking probably $1k more than I want to spend. I'm going to ask Stellarbuilt for an estimate for something similar. I could get it customized for 1 wheel, 2 Jerry cans, and 2 Plano trunks. And removable, that would be very important.

I would ask stellar.. 1k+ and shipping for sdhq??
He is local, and I am sure he will accommodate any thing you needed back there. I would say he would definitely tailor it to your needs.

1 with gear. Then as soon as I get it installed and start using it I'll realize that I should have gotten 2.
