Marker lights of TRD Pro Grill randomly going on

What’s up,

I had some aftermarket marker lights installed on my 24’ Tundra limited with an TRD Pro grill. The market lights will randomly go on sometimes. Typically the lights only run when the truck is on. I believe the market lights are wired with the running day lights. Anybody got any suggestions? Thanks

What did you tap, and/or fuse to?

 

If it’s a fuse tap, there are some fuses that intermittently come on throughout the day, whether the truck is on or not. I tapped my drls to a fuse that did that, relocated to a different fuse and haven’t had them come on without the truck on, since.

Wiring is typically fairly easy. Using a digital multi meter provides your answer. If you verified readings using proper equipment, then the component is faulty.

Ever see those menacing Tacos and 4R measuring under 80” wide with aftermarket DOT lights that flicker?

After looking through some old threads like I should have in the first place, I came to the conclusion to move the wiring harness from the driver’s side fuse box to an open ENG IGR fuse slot in the passenger fuse box. Just had to extend the wiring. This seems to be working.
