Hey guys I was wondering if you guys could tell me how to get this maplight housing out. I removed the 2 screws that are in the sunglass holder. Do I just pull it down now or is there another screw somewhere?

    It's good
If it's like a DC it pulls down after those screws are out. Maybe from the windshield end. Give it some firm steady pull with a tad of umph, but like you are trying to not break plastic.

As @alb1k says, give it a little tug downward. After screws are removed, it's held in place with the 2 clips shown in red below.

NO NO NO NO. That's not correct @BubbaW and @alb1k

For OP's Access Cab, there's a little clip you need to squeeze together, and to access it you need to pop off the map light cover on the driver's side. If you try to pull it down without doing that, you WILL break the housing clip, we aren't as lucky as you double cab owners, your process would have us breaking shit.

Let me go out to the truck and take some pics. I'll be right back.

Start by opening the compartment, then remove these two:

Next, you need to pop off the driver side light cover. Do this by taking something thin and plastic to slide into the seam here, and bump out the lens' pivot point.

If you turn the switch on above to "OFF" so you can see back in there, the light will stop blinding you and you'll see the fastener you need to squeeze together, and the housing will drop down. It's almost like an arrow-shaped barb.

PS - when reinstalling the light cover, start with the left-hand side first. Get the little tab in the center inserted, then pop in the tab you popped out and its counterpart on the other side at the same time.

So glad you enjoyed that so much. As @alb1k mentioned, "If it's like a DC" and at that time there was no mention by OP of AC/DC. There is now a mention of an AC in profile and as always that helps. Carry On o_O

I don't know why there are seemingly so many little differences. Must just be the DC superiority thing.

DC is a totally different animal, I've learned. Like, more different than the same. But I don't think it's a superiority/inferiority thing.

More like they just ran out of parts after building the AC and RC trucks, and cobbled together whatever they could from SUVs and minivans to put in the DC.

Besides, the cheaper model of anything tends to be radically different. Mostly because they don't want you to be able to upgrade it to the better version too easily. ;)

To @BubbaW 's point though, I really wish the forum gave a "next steps" email or something when you sign up that told you how to update your status and what/where to put info on your truck so every other help post isn't "uh, what year and cab config you got?"
