Just wondering how big of a worm hole this would be to go down. I have to rebuild/swap the current engine she made it to 485xxxkm and was barely running when I flipped the truck (pretty proud of her) would like to tare everything outta the front end and replace the t-case, manual transmission throw an axle in the front and put a flat deck on her because the box is messed up pretty good. Id like to know if anyone else has done a SAS on a 06 if so some info for parts would be very helpful same goes if anyones done a manual trans swap.

If your good with fab work I say go for it. The biggest hurdle you’ll come across is every part for a SAS has to homemade or modified. How tall do you want it to be? If your going to stay in the 33”-35” range. You’ll need to do a lot more frame modifications than if you were going to make it set like a monster truck.
