My TRD pro, I had installed the autofill from the inside airbags. They were T-d to the same fill point as was wondering if there was a reason not to do the same with the manual fill off the back? I don't haul as much as I did with the Pro so the extra investment for the remote auto/adjustable fill is not really warranted. To keep the bags at even pressure like the auto fill does, doesn't it make sense to do the same with the manual fill?

I have mine two separate fill points. If they are tee’d assuming no check valve they will distribute air to each other which in my mind defeats the purpose. They don’t take much air to inflate. The auto and onboard systems are unnecessary in my mind. Take a few seconds to fill with a compressor or battery powered inflator.

The issue with the T'd connector how I understand it is when you take turns the bags will share the air. So you won't get the support where you need it in a turn because the pressure on one side will give the air to the side that doesn't need it. I also went with the manual fill as it takes seconds with bike pump I carry in the Decked.

The air will move to the unloaded side and raise it, so then the side with the load (or more weight) will not have any support. You can install a check valve though.
