I ordered my SR5 5.7 tundra 4x4 and i should have it in 1 month. I have a dodge ram 1500 4x4 (threw a rod) with LT 315/70R17 tires that are almost new. Any chance i can modify the Tundra to make them fit without costing too much?

buy wheels from Icon or Method. buy shocks with AT LEAST 2" of front lift (2.5" is better). chop where it rubs. done!

    Also, welcome ;)

Speaking from experience, get a +25 offset. So either Icons or a few of the Method wheels. Remove the mud flap and either push the front fender liner forward, remove it, or buy the coachbuilder bumper spacers.

Lift isn't necessary, but it'll look pretty squatted with the front at the stock height. Lifts don't prevent rub on our trucks unless your talking 4"+, otherwise you keep the same range of motion and as soon as you compress the suspension you'll rub if the offset is too aggressive.

Pro with +25 and 315s (2" front lift), didnt need CMC, did remove the front bumper liner.

SR5 with 0 offset and 315s, have had it as low as 2" of lift and currently at 2.5" of lift. Changing height did not affect the rub, only moving the bumper and CMC. CMC done, bumper moved forward with a spacer, bumper liner removed.

+25mm offset and 8.5inch wide wheels are a must, then slight trim the front fender liner, remove both mud flaps up front, and you should be good to go. Also, keep in mind that for KO2 315/70r17 tires, their load range C is about 0.5-1 inch wider than load range E ones, I went with Load range E for this reason and that its sidewall strength.
