Ahoy, 2nd Gen. Tundra owners. I'm a newbie here on the board, so be gentle! Hah.

My 2010 Tundra 5.7l V8 2wd has been a flawless performer since we picked it up at the end of 2009. We use it only for special camping trips and only occasionally around town. We have a pop-up camper loaded permanently, about 900 lbs. dry. We've now recently crossed the 100k mile threshold, and I'm wondering about major maintenance we should do: Looks like tranny and coolant flush+replace, plugs--anything else? A quick AI query puts the cost of these operations at about $600 or so, tho I haven't checked with any local shops to do the work. Any experience and advice much appreciated. Thanks!

Normal maintenance is all thats needed unless you have issues.

Trans and diffs drain and fill- no flush
    coolant change
    plugs
    engine and cabin air filter
    Probably need to clean maf
Lube the zerks fittings in the driveline and ujoints
    Maybe do the belt, PVC
And as far as costs...DIY may run about 600 for parts and fluids but if you are having a shop do all this expect to pay about 2-3x that.

Hey Scott. Welcome. Those are good services to start with. A new water pump and thermostat wouldn’t hurt as well. And just make sure if you do change the transmission fluid, just do a drain and fill. From what I understand, flushing it does more harm than good. When I got mine changed at my local Toyota dealer, they said they don’t even do flushes. Just drain and fill.
