Hey all, my 24 has just 4700 miles and I get maintenance required message when I start the truck, I was under the assumption that oils changes were at 10k, am I wrong?

2024 Limited Smoked Mesquite Tundra

Toyota does 5k maintenance intervals. It is not an oil change but just more so a multipoint inspection and the top off the fluids. Some will also change their oil at every 5k intervals. If you do the oil changes at 5k, 15k, and 25k you will be paying out of pocket for those changes. Toyota gives you two oil changes at 10k and 20k with the free maintenance

the maint req'd light is set for 5k miles since that is what the tire rotation interval is normally on toyota's.

it usually comes on at 4500 miles since last reset.
