Maint. Required??

I got a recall in the mail about the reversing lights. The next day I got a message on my dash saying Maint Required. I put the scanner on my truck but had no P codes. Is this just the recall on my dash??

 

That means you're due for service

 

Just got a oil change at 6200km. and I'm at 8976km now.

 

It's not a message for the recall - it sounds to me like you did an early oil change and the maintenance clock was not reset so it thinks its time for maintenance

 

I believe the Toyota App will tell you what it is if you register the vehicle there.

 

It will show maintenance required every 5000 miles, for tire rotation, & the next will be another rotation + oil change.

 

To reset the maintenance reminder got to Settings ---->Vehicle Settings ---->Maintenance Schedule---->Reset Data
