Question for all you wonderful folks:

Anyone - properly- lowered a Tundra? I don't mean slammed to the ground, but dropped the height a few inches? My 1794 4x4...ive always wanted it lowered a tad.

While its not my style, I've seen the reversed level happening a bit more lately (lowering the back). I think there are a lot of reasons to do it, such as wanted a good capable truck but not climbing into it. I'm guessing that'd be the biggest reason. But OP, that'd be simple enough and get an inch or two down in the center, to average out.

Lowering the rear only a couple inches is a bit of a challenge. Our suspension design doesn’t have a lot of room for doing so. The shackle is not inverted which is how it used to be done. The springs are already kinda flat at ride height. The bump stop will hit the frame all the time too if you did lower the rear 2 inches.

youre basically locked into a spring under flip, which will drop you 5 inches. Now in the front to get 4 inches of drop or so to match that you’re gonna need a combo of drop spindles (used to be made, havent found if they still are), drop springs (again, poor ride, hitting the bumps all the time), and/or drop control arms (good option)

I started my suspension mods with a rear level using the SOS 3.25 kit while keeping the front stock height. It gave a nice level stance. Just recently I adjusted those same shackles to lowest setting and went down to about 4.75 with a SOS 2in drop kit in front. Now I definitely hit bumps tops in the rear on whoops with the rear air bags deflated.
