Hey all, after my mevotech lower ball joint incident last week, I've decided to throw a bunch of money at the problem and do a big ol front end rebuild and replace a bunch of things. Chief amongst which are my lower control arm bushings.

I really like polyurethane parts, and I've liked the increased response I get from my steering rack bushings, so I ordered some siberian bushings made in Russia as they are the only ones that come with the outer sleeve (the energy suspension ones don't). I haven't started the job yet, but the issue I may come across is that the bushing inner diameter seems a bit too wide, maybe? These parts clock their ID at 19.5mm (.7677in), and I was under the impression that the cam sleeves were 19mm (.748in). Further, looking on rockauto, it looks like lower control arm bushing diameters are all over the place; Delphi at .771in, Dorman at 19mm (.748in), Mevotech at .76in, Moog at .770in. What gives? A thirty thou difference between manufacturers for the the same part seems like a lot. And, all of them are at or above what I thought was the standard diameter for the cam sleeves. Are they supposed to be a bit loose in there? Has anyone done this job recently and can put my mind at ease by saying "yes, they sleeves were a little bit loose, but they're supposed to be."

    Appreciate your replies in advance!
