My new (to me) 2009 came with a new set of brakes and tires. I am assuming that the valves are not pressure sensor valves and thus, the light. Any way of turning it off?

    Too many, but not enough....
Are you actually showing readings on your dash of the psi or is it just the light? has the light always been on?

Toyotas TPMS are valve stem, easy verification. Valve stems silver or black?

Otherwise, try resetting. Driver lower right knee panel.

If the light is on and your tire pressure is good, make sure you check the spare too.

You have a rubber stem in the picture. They likely removed the TP sensors, if my sight serves me. I think* the only way to have the light shut off permanently is through the dealer, unfortunately.

Does spare tire have a sensor?

I don't think my 2016 has it either but I wasn't sure since I have read conflicting info.
Maybe I should visit my owner's manual which still looks brand new! :D

Not sure if that would even tell you. Best bet would be look underneath.

Quick search, looks like most 14+ do not come with. Even the build list with VINs show up with only 4 sensors based off others comments on the forum

I am sure the sensors are not there, Altho I will check the spare. My question was is there a way of killing the light?

Take the bulb out or get sensors.
