So I lost my ac I think it has somthing to do with it could this be . i am bad at tracking these things I am wondering if I should just buy a new ac unit the clutch went on mine been putting it off but seems to be multiplying with little problems .
It’s weird cause the idle seems to mess with voltage . i am going to attempt throttle body clean but I see lots of guys say it’s not a thing ?

Post is a bit confusing, But the low or erratic idle could be a vacuum leak. Idle will mess with voltage as the alternator has to spin fast enough to create it. Cleaning a throttle body is a real thing. Get some throttle body cleaner, take the intake hose off, and wipe the throttle body plate off with the cleaner, don't spray into the throttle body. Don't let the plate slam shut.

    I’ll give it a try . Sorry … half French .
Thought u would throw in the a/c quitting to see maybe a connection .
but my truck somtimes stalls when I start it jumps to like 12-15 hundred rpm then does check engine and at temp light come on . If I take keys out and lock doors it seems to start up fine every-time …
But now my idle seems low like 500 and was jumping …
My ac went last summer I have to shut it off if my fan pops on , this seems to regulate it . I will clean throttle body and new air filter also going to order ac unit stop putting it off .
I will go from there . Thanks for the help .

If your AC compressor is known to be bad, why not isolate it by getting a belt that bypasses it until you decide to replace it?

Yeah it’s like no matter what it would engage and was overheating.
I found a replacement on parts avatar .
But it looks like a contract to change
