    Looks like you are a mile short :).

    My FIL's 22 is approaching 80k miles. I think his only issue was a sensor that was damaged by road debris.

    Clearly you both got lemons as these trucks are designed to blow up at 30k miles or less. I'd guess yours is one of the crappy "day shift builds." I suggest you complain to Toyota. Not fair that other Toyota owners are getting 1 or more new engines while you are stuck with your old one.

    Hell, maybe Toyota will give you a new 24 in trade so they can tear it apart and figure out what went wrong with yours.

    At that point I was dipping east bound I80 downtown SF
    been driving for 30 yrs
    Know how to multi task
    & when to do so safely

    Adjusting your radio or HVAC
    can be just as much a dangerous distraction if done at the wrong time
