Y’all’s radiator fan seem loud on hot days. More so driving in traffic or city streets. It doesn’t stay on very long. Mostly on take off.

Yes but still not as loud as an F150 radiator fan.

So I have the loud radiator fan problem too, a brand new 2024 SR5. Not only the loud roar, but I can feel it taking away power from the truck when accelerating from a stop. City driving is just no fun in this thing. I can’t believe no one else has brought up this issue before, unless ARB1977 and I have some sort of cooling issue going on.

I know what you mean about the slower take off from a stop. The coolant has been full both times I checked. It’s hotter than a biotch here in Texas. Once I get going the fan stops or at least I don’t hear it.

Normal. Clutch fan driven by the crank, not a wimpy electric fan like many use now.

I never hear my radiator fan. It's 105F in the shade here so I'm not driving around with my windows down. The truck is amazingly quiet. The AC blower does get pretty loud when on MAX setting but it's pretty reasonable a couple of notches down. If you're hearing your radiator fan then you must have a noisy fan. Perhaps the metal skid plates are creating an echo chamber? Mine just has the plastic.

I live in the Phx area, so either I'm used to loud fans or mine isn't that loud. Like mentioned above, my old F150s sounded like jets taking off at the airport in the summer. Those things were excessively loud. I also don't notice a dip in power during our 115 degree days, so maybe the issues above are faulty fans? I also have the hybrid, so I don't know if that would make a difference for any reason.
