Getting the box of my 18 DC SR5 spray lined. Probabaly going with Bullet Liner.

Also thinking of getting my front chrome corners sprayed (inside and out), front bumper to match...and maybe the grill surround.

    Rear bumper and chrome too.

    Experience with this....pictures...opinions...??

I think everything will look and match great...but wonder if I should do the grill surround with the spray liner...or color match it white, with rest of the truck.

    Aaaaaaand....giv'er

Be careful with painting the bumpers. I see you live in Canada so even worse winters then what I have here in Chicago. My experience looking at local trucks is any model with factory painted bumpers shows rust in say 7-8 years. My brother in laws 2008 F150 looks 30 years old and horrible. However, I don't see the chrome bumpers with rust issues. Doesn't matter who the manufacturer is. Not sure if the painted ones only have a light dusting of paint on backside and maybe no clear or maybe just e-coat primer so rust quickly. The chrome which is on both sides may encapsulate the steel and seems to last.

Color match the exterior chrome parts.
I have linex in the bed. Loving it so far. Do think that texture would look good on the exterior.

Appreciate the comments. Wouldn't be having any chrome painted....rather sprayed with Bullet Liner, inside and outside. Was also told by a few paint/body shops that painting any chrome will not last. So qm in the process of sourcing either an unpainted surround and hood buldge, then having them painted white...or finding white ones complete.

I have my vehicles Rust Checked every fall too. Rust Check, imho, is the best protection against salt/oxidation.

I had one of the only Tacomas in my area (right on the Bay of Fundy where we get hammered with salt air 365) after 10 yrs, that did not require a replacement/recalled frame. My Tundra will be going in for that first treatment a few days after any bumper work is done.
