Lost My Front License Plate

I nevere liked how the front plate was attached, scewed into the plastic.
In Texas ftont plates are required.

Has anyone else found a bettet way to mount the front plate on a 2nd gen?

My gen 2 has this:

 

Makes more sense. Curious how it attaches on there, guessing some appropriate hardware.
Never really noticed other Gen 2s having it.

Could you possibly compare this one to your Gen 3 (if you have one) to see if they look interchageable? Member offering their Gen 3 mount.

I looked and they appear to be slightly different, though it may still work. You can see it somewhat in this pic:



The Gen2 one has more curve at the top.
