So I’ve had my 2020 DC 200k miles (I know that’s a lot) about 1k miles and I’ve noticed since I got it the steering wheel shakes a little bit at freeway speeds but nothing too crazy.
Jacked up the front today to move the wheel back and forth and I can get the wheel to turn back and forth just a tiny bit, I can hear it too when I do it. Wheel bearings are good but I can see the tie rods going in and out as if the steering rack is loose when I do it. I can only move it a tiny amount either way like maybe 1/4-1/2” total. I’ve seen some threads on steering rack failures but not sure if this is the same as that or if it’s a mount issue? Anyone have any similar experience? All is appreciated!
