After a run through the car wash today my fuel door is very loose. I pulled the assembly out and the spring is fine. The cheap plastic pin is loose and looks as though maybe a thin plastic tab that hold the pin in the “larger” cheap plastic part snapped off. I tried a helping of super glue to try and reconnect the cheap plastic parts but am not optimistic. I see the assembly on various websites for around $75. Anyone here found a non-oem assembly for less? I believe it’s called a fuel pocket.
