Hey guys, looking for some help figuring out what leveling kit to get to just level out the front with the back. I've got a stock 2000 tundra sr5 AC, and like I said really wanna get the front to be level with the rear. I know everyone always says bilstein 5100s, but they seem to be way too expensive for me. Wondering if there's maybe any normal, cheaper, "Offroad" ready ones for like under 250 bucks maybe? Just figure did come to the forums to see, seems like there's probably some bros out there.
    Thanks in advance.
Also just did my ball joints and sway bar links, that was expensive for me anyway haha. I read somewhere that the normal like leveling kits that are just the strut extenders or whatever are bad for the ball joints.
Also yea I feel completely clueless, so I probably am

    https://www.amazon.com/Bilstein-rep...n+5100+tundra&qid=1564684439&s=gateway&sr=8-5

The above link shows both Bilstein 5100's you will need for the front. $228.

Might find it slightly cheaper elsewhere, I just spent 30 seconds to find it on Amazon.

With these to work you have to re-use your factory coil springs. With yours being a 2000 they may be worn out, but that's a call you're going to have to make.

Old Man Emu (ARB) might be slightly cheaper, but I bet they are darn near the same price or more.

You mentioned off road. Spacer lifts and stuff that might be cheaper than the 5100's really will not do well offroad. You do you man, I'm just putting that out there.

Sucks having to wait and save up, but in the long run worth it. I have been collecting parts and savings for the last 6 months and still don't have my new parts and lift on.

Best advice I can give, don't rush it if it isn't an absolute need and research/weigh your options. Also, you do what you like. In the end it's your truck!

Lastly, welcome to the forum Isaiah!

I know there were 2 others who already jumped on that so I doubted they were still available. I'll check. It's in the "what have you done to your 1st gen today" thread.

    UPDATE:they already sold. Just confirmed!

where are you located. There's a guy in the sale section selling rancho quicklift front complete. He's Jackson Texas. Said $150. Maybe if you're far from him offer the $250 you wanted to spend so he can use the $100 in shipping and bribery since he doesn't seem to want to ship. Those include new front springs which I'm guessing would be very nice for your truck due to age.

    Just my $0.02!

Hey yea thanks a ton, I must have missed those on Amazon! That's basically what I was looking for. Ya think that would be all I would need for the roughly 2 in in the front to level it out?
Also I'm in Wisconsin, woulda maybe gave it a shot if they weren't sold

So the bilsteins sold, but the rancho quicklifts are in the sale section on this forum. Buy/Sell/Trade. Go to the 1st gen section and you'll find them. Maybe try those if you want. They include new springs which are already installed, that will save you some cost.

    Good luck!
