    Hello,
Being the owner of a new to me 2007 RCSB with 4-wheel drive and a 5.7 I am beyond happy. All my buddies said don’t buy one as you need a crew cab or extended cab. But for me, growing up in western Pa in the 80’s the vast majority of trucks were regular cabs with two wheel drive. So that influenced my decision to get my Tundra. But I really wanted the 4x4. I will do some very light duty with the truck but really it is going to be a truck to putz around town and to enjoy it.

The color is green but it is not as nice as the green from the first generation. The interior is grey but I am hoping to convert it to sand beige. Will be searching the for sale ads here for interior trim.

    Thanks,
    Rich

Will do over the coming weeks. I had bought new a 2003 Dakota with the 4.7 in the extended cab format. It was problematic and would have been way better getting the Tundra. But I had joined a Dakota forum and they are good guys. The truck got totaled of all places at a dealership when it was there to get the PCM card replaced. An older fella working at the dealership side swiped it by accident and the cost to repair it would have cost more than it was worth. The dealership gave me 13,800 for it even though it was likely only worth 4500 bucks. Even though it wasn’t reliable I still miss it because it was the truck I drove my kids around when they were younger. But had to take the money for a big expense so that was how the pickup took care of me in its own way. Got to admit the 2007 Tundra is WAY better than my old rig.
